Sea Scout Advancement Program

The Sea Scout advencement program is available to all YOUTH members of a Sea Scout Ship until the age of 21 is attained. The basic awards are:

Blue-Rank-ApprenticeBlue-Rank-OrdinaryBlue-Rank-AbleBlue-Rank-Quartermaster
ApprenticeOrdinaryAbleQuartermaster Award

The requirements for the Sea Scout Advancement program are providedin the Sea Scout Manual.

After a Boy Scout has earned his First Classrank in a troop, he may continue to earn Boy Scout ranks, up to and including Eagle Palms as a member of a Sea Scout Ship; however, no Boy Scout rank can be earned past the age of 18. (Certain exception may apply).
